How to Build Circuits
1. Drag components from the toolbox to the workspace
2. Connect components by dragging from one connection point to another
3. Right-click on components to rotate them
4. Click on wires to delete them
5. Drag components to move them around
Circuit Basics
A complete circuit must form a continuous path from the positive terminal of the battery to the negative terminal.
For a bulb to light up, current must flow through it.
Switches control whether current can flow through a part of the circuit.
Component Guide
Battery
Provides electrical energy to the circuit. Always has positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
Resistor
Limits the flow of electrical current. Often used to control current in specific parts of the circuit.
Light Bulb
Lights up when current flows through it. Acts as both a resistor and an output device.
Switch
Controls whether current can flow through a part of the circuit. Can be open (off) or closed (on).
Wire
Connects components together, allowing current to flow between them.
Solving Puzzles
Each puzzle will present you with a specific goal, such as:
- Lighting a bulb
- Creating a circuit that only works when two switches are closed
- Adding resistors to control current flow
Use the components provided to achieve the goal. The "Check Solution" button will verify if your circuit works correctly.
Tips
- Start by placing the battery first
- Make sure your circuit forms a complete loop
- Test switches by toggling them (click on them)
